No one is alone. It gets better.
JJ Vincent wants to share a message from people who fought to be who they are, and who know that “It Gets Better”.
The It Gets Better Project was created in 2010 to “…to communicate to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth around the world that it gets better, and to create and inspire the changes needed to make it better for them.”
Celebrities. Businesses. Musicians. Politicians. Students. Soldiers. Everyday people. Gay, straight, and everything in between. Thousands of people have contributed videos with to goal to let LGBT youth know that they are not alone.
But a message this powerful doesn’t pay attention to boundaries. It doesn’t care how old you are, what you look like, or who you love. It reaches parents, teachers, adults, children, CEOs, janitors, people who are struggling, people who have made it and are helping others on their life journey. And it keeps spreading. And so the people who share their experiences, encouragement, love, hope, and wisdom.
